Considering Sponsored Posts.
Hey, welcome back! Did you remember to join our newsletter? Did you know that paid members receive tons of cool freebies and discounts?
“Ok, So.” Since I start thoughts with that phrase fairly often. I started a blog/column/series of monthly articles with that title.
I got the idea today, that while I’m working on various websites, content banks, blogs, etc, I’ve got a built in r&d team in you guys, that already read what I write, right here.
Caveat: Some of my future articles/content are sponsored. But I’ll let you know which ones those are. And I don’t expect you to clicky the linky just because I post it. But if I’m paid to write about something that interests you, feel free to follow the rabbit.
Also, if you catch me using a phrase that works where I live, but makes as much sense as peanut butter tacos where you live, let me know.
And finally, if you see me post something that you think you know of a publisher or website that would like that article, let me know. If I get a paid gig from a lead you give, I’ll donate a portion of my profit to a charity in your name. And TOTALLY give you credit.
I’m thinking up a key system, so that sponsored posts($) or posts of content from elsewhere that I write is flagged for you to enjoy or ignore at your preference. While I may want to make money from my writing, I’m a courteous capitalist.
OH, AND if you know of a non-profit or for-profit venture that is easy to work with and needs a grant proposal or other proposal type document, I do that for a portion of the award received. As in, they don’t pay me unless we get monies from what I write. I only take on one of these at a time, usually, but a good word from you guys will carry some weight.
Thank you for your support!

Freelance Gig Websites: Friend or Foe?
Deal of the Day: Get Paid to Write on the Internet Click Here!
********************************************
I’ve seen a few deals, like the sponsored link above, crop up in my adsense ads, lately. I’ve been wondering about their legitimacy. Are they for real? Do they just do the legwork that I, as a freelancer could do, for free, on my own? Would I want to? Or would I rather pay a service to deliver the gigs to my inbox?
The thought appeals. For, as much as I enjoy the hunt for a writing gig, I know my return on investment would be better to just write. For pay.
But then my obsession to write, with or without compensation kicks in and… I blog.

So, I might just click on the link above, or ones like it, pay the money, do the research and report my findings. Whether or not that would violate the terms of my agreement to sponsor the link, I haven’t investigated, as of yet.
Will it bear fruit? Or just spam?
I’ll let ya know.
