Something that brings me nearly to tears every time I think about it - the people of New Orleans that are still living in deplorable conditions, so long after the tragedy happened. They need a voice. They need help. They need homes that aren’t going to kill them. They need schools and neighborhoods that are safe. They need hope.

If you aren’t sure what I’m talking about… take a minute to watch Oprah tomorrow, Wednesday, August 29th. It may be a re-run, but I don’t always watch TV, so it’s new to me. And it’s a cause I really care about.
