While many artist-types don’t like to show their work until it’s done, when it comes to blogging, web development and the like, I enjoy letting “my five readers” see how things are progressing.

I’ve added some colors.  (Watch for an article on selecting colors that work together.)

I still need to finish my header graphics, some semantic tweaks.  (Check out Pearsonified.)

And I want to customize the sidebar quite a bit more.

All in good time.   For me, it’s more important to have a live spot to write, than to be perfect before you look.

As are we all, I am a work in progress.

I edit my site live too. Fortune favors the bold they say!

And don’t worry about having a bare bones site. I claim to be a graphic artist and I have some opinions on the matter. A quick glance at my blog should let you know what I think about “bare bones”.

Ian, I see what you mean about bare bones. I like how clean your site is. I also appreciated the flickr link to books arranged by colour. Yay! Words & Colours make me happy!

Meg
