Breast Cancer Wake Up Call

All for Women posted about October being Breast Cancer awareness month, pretty much worldwide.

I was reading it, thinking, “Oh yeah!”

And then it hit me.

• Two women on my mom’s side of my family tree were diagnosed and are currently in the beginning treatment stage of Breast Cancer.
• My paternal grandmother had Breast Cancer.
• I have breasts.

So, even though I’m only 31, I’m going to get my baseline done, this month. It’s a test that I’m not looking forward to, as I’m pretty well stacked (thanks, Mom) and I hear it’s not a comfortable procedure. Either way, it’s best to know early on… so… here goes… everything.
