WP Theme Supports Education
The guts of my own custom theme are done. The next step is to make it pretty.
In the meantime, I’ll be using this theme, by Chris Pearson. Neoclassical is neat, clean, and supports the Open Education Project.
So in addition to being a smart theme, it gets me in my charitable spot. I love a good cause, and helping one at the same time I help my business is great.
Also, I’ll be doing an article soon on the CSS, XHTML & WP designers whose work has been educational, inspirational, and motivational to my own development in geeking. Just as a thank you.

New Wordpress Theme Design
I’ve taken weeks to think about what the new design for Center of Muse needs to be. The business is changing. The wordpress blog is changing. And the needs are changing, too.
Rather than focusing exclusively on writing motivation, and inspiring wannabe entrepreneurs to take action - we’ll be including both virtual and live classes and events geared at helping people get the skills they need to do what they love.
We’re also having another focus. We want to show folks that we can practice attraction and abundance and have success be a byproduct of kindness and compassion. By helping each other out, and being a good neighbor to the world - we can all get what we need, what we want and do what we love.
Sound Idyllic? Sure it does. But it’s also completely possible.
Just think about it for a while. Visualize having all the money, clients, friends, love, food, laughter, and learning you need. Meditate about having all of that while helping others have all that, too. Pray for the courage to help folks in the most remote parts of the world have everything they need, right along with you.
Then, take action.
Maybe that’s a little far out for a post about a wordpress theme. But these are all the things that the theme needs to combine.
I’ll be playing with the creations of others for a bit, but I’m also creating a great piece of work m’self.
Stay tuned.
And why not follow me on twitter, for updates.
Once I figure out what I want for the site, I’ll do a multi-phase release, and share the work with members. (The public will get it eventually, but Center of Muse members will have shared exclusive access, first.)
