Make-A-Wish Foundation of Wisconsin seeks a self-motivated, detail-oriented professional to write and design Foundation print pieces and Web site articles. This position will work in a team atmosphere to craft Foundation messages and branding initiatives that share the joy of wish-come-true experiences. Successful candidate will have a BA/BS, be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Acrobat and Microsoft Office; Flash knowledge a plus. Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, take direction and work in a team is required plus 2-4 years experience in communications, marketing or nonprofit. Website design, writing & editing projects:

My subcontractor project is going well. My client is happy, their client is happy. I have the satisfaction of a high profile client without the ability to talk about it. (Yet.) I think they were pleasantly surprised that I came in with the project completed in less time and for less money than they expected.

The Midwife I’m helping has discovered she got taken advantage of by her former host/”designer.” I suspect a notice to the BBB will be warranted. I hope things will go smoothly from here on out and that she’ll be super happy with what we’ve put together. So far, she says, “Meg, I just have to say that you are awesome! I love your style. Thanks for your professionalism and complete information.” (Mental note – file that under “fabulous ego stroking testimonials.”)

The gift/tea shop owner, Colleen is a wonderful lady. I can’t wait to work with her on getting her business online. She’s got a terrificly eclectic store that features unique and mind opening gifts from all over the world. People need to know about it!

New Business Coaching Winners

My ProBlogger bunch: I couldn’t be happier with the seven of nine (ok, I’m a geek, but I so had to) winners who are in touch and scheduled to begin group business coaching this month. Spiritual, creative, and ambitious – my kind of folks.
