Since the 1980’s, coaching has gone from an underground profession, with clients denying they have a coach, to becominga status symbol and almost a necessity for success.

Whether you know you want one, or are just currious, this article will offer some advice on evaluating the affordability of coaching.

ProBlogger Prizes

ProBlogger is 3 years old! And in celebration, Darren has collected prezzies from his friends. Approximately $60,000 worth! Better yet, he’s giving them away to readers!

I am totally thrilled to have been able to give back to the site that gives so much to writers, bloggers, and web-geeks!

My Personal History with ProBlogger

I have a long history online, but have only been “Pro Blogging” for about a year. You see, I had pretty consistently had some form of live website or journaling project going on, since the mid 1990’s. I had private journals to share with friends, who lived far away from me, all the goings on of my life. But it really wasn’t until I found ProBlogger that I realized, “Hey there’s people making money off of what I’m doing anyway? SWEET!”

And so, I dropped out of writing groups that weren’t serving me, and were rather boring, actually, to pursue the world of blogging as a means of generating supplemental income.

So here I am, with a mainly online business, and a blog that does a little better than breaking even, and about to turn that business into a “brick-and-mortar” venture with many more services.

And there is Darren Rowse, the guy who got me to shift my thinking about writing online, with a successful 3 year old site and company of his own.
