As friends, readers, and clients know, I’ve been evaluating different ways of monetization. While I don’t need this blog to make the kind of bank that Daren Rowse’s ventures do, I want it to do the best it can.

My main goal is to have this, and all my sites, be self-sufficient. To sing for their supper. To bring home the bacon & fry it up in the pan. If they bring home enough for me to get a new writing, photography, or tech gadget once a year, and contribute a chunk of change to charity, all the better.

The Dog Ate My Homework!

A friend of mine and I went for a walk on the shore of Lake Michigan, last week. Upon returning to his house, I went into the living room to collect my things and get on with the rest of my day.

I look down and see a picture of Tim Ferriss looking back at me. It looks like the pic from the dust cover for “The 4-Hour Workweek.”

My first thought: “Andy must be reading ‘The 4-Hour Workweek’ too!”
