It’s no secret that I love seafood. I especially love raw seafood. So when the opportunity came up to spread the word about protecting yourself from a particular illness that can come from eating raw mollusks, such as Gulf oysters – I couldn’t pass it up.

This is the lifesaver to help you not get your power shut off and locked out of your building while you are waiting for your other grants and loans to make it through the red tape of government bureaucracy.

You’ve got it! You know it. You know you have in your hand the business plan to the next killer restaurant. You can see celebrities and citizens rubbing elbows and tummies as they dine on your delectable selections.

You’ve got the space picked out, the chef in mind, right down to the logo for the sign and the paint for the interior.

But you’ve got a problem.

You need money. Now. And your small business grant will not pay out for 30 days. Uh-oh.

That situation is exactly why ARF exists. They will likely not finance your business forever. (Unless your idea sucks and you’re out of business before you repay the loan.) What they DO is loan your business money to tide you over until your other funding kicks in.

Exactly. This is the lifesaver to help you not get your power shut off and locked out of your building while you are waiting for your other grants and loans to make it through the red tape of government bureaucracy.

Advance Restaurant Funding provides working capital for merchants, with benefits like early repayment options and funds available in as little as 5 days. They’ve been around since 2001, and while they are based in California, they fund restaurants all over the country. With terms of 26, 40, or 52 weeks, depending on your situation, they probably have an option that you can work with.

For more information about Restaurant Funding, check out what ARF can do for you!

First of all, what hasn't profited:

I couldn’t think of an “M” word that is a synonym of analysis – let me know if you come up with one!

I’ve finished the analysis of some of my marketing experiments today. With some surprising results.

Keeping in mind that the majority of my ads are “below the fold” because I’d rather readers poke around inside this site, than leave it – I can now share with you which marketing experiments have produced profit, and which are being deleted.

First of all, what hasn’t profited:

AuctionAds – I liked the widget because it was pretty and colorful. I didn’t like the lack of control or how the ads that showed up had nothing to do with most that I write about on Center of Muse. After a three month trial – $0. It goes buh-bye.

Agloco – I joined because I like the idea of a community based around sharing revenue for being online. And as I am online a lot, it’s a no-brainer to use the Agloco Viewbar when I’m doing non-secure surfing. I don’t use it if I’m working on anything that’s password sensitive or belonging to a client. Just-in-case. The company has not turned a profit, yet, but as I am accumulating hours and “shares” – I’m going to continue to give Agloco more time. (Think about it- Amazon didn’t make a profit at first, either!)

Stay tuned for information on what affiliate programs and advertising experiments produced enough for me to keep them & strongly recommend them to you!
