I say, "Being green is just good business!"

The theme for this year’s Blog Action Day is the Environment.

It’s October 15th and people all over the world are blogging about the Environment. It’s something that affects us all.

Whether you blog about making money online, home based businesses, parenting, homeschooling, religion, politics, or celebrity bloopers – you are effected by and have an effect on the environment every day.

People all over the world are experiencing more asthma, allergies, illness from unhealthy water, AIDS, other viruses. And while there are things we can’t have an immediate profound effect upon there ARE things we can do to help.

Spread Awareness.

If there’s something that you care about, or something that pisses you off, don’t sit quietly. Talk about it, inform others, educate them. Spread awareness like a virus of knowledge to heal the world. Continuously educate yourself, too.

Take Action.

As the Swoosh would say: “Just Do It.” Find a group in your area and help them clean your neighborhood. Go on vacation and leave wherever you go better than you found it. Change each lightbulb in your home and office to compact fluorescents – they use much less energy to burn bright. Don’t waste. Recycle. Reuse.

Throw money at it

Buy from socially and environmentally conscious vendors. Donate some of your profits to causes that send the majority or 100% of their donations to the ones they support. Ask your readers and clients to chime in about the causes they support. Offer matching funds.

Being environmentally conscious especially in businesses where you inspire and educate others is a gift to the world. Coincidentally, the path that’s best for the environment often saves money for you, too.

I clicked on a link in a Blog Rush widget( – see the blue rectangle with a bunch of links in my sidebar?). I found a write up by a young guy who tells of what he learned from a Tony Robbins seminar he went to in Singapore.

Sean Tan isn’t the best with english writing, but his experiences are good to read.

For anyone in the public speaking, direct marketing, or motivational fields, Anthony Robbins is a must-see. You have to experience Tony Live to really absorb how talented he is in connecting with his audience. Whether you can afford a one-on-one, like the celebrities do, or can only manage a ticket or two – absorbing some of what this guy does will improve your business 100-fold.

As far as Sean’s experience, he learned, “Some people say ‘Yes, I ’should’ exercise everyday. But until at of the month, still no action! Why? Because it’s not a ‘Must’, so it’s not enough powerful to push yourself to take action.”

What could you come away with if you take advantage of the special offer to see Anthony Robbins Live in Atlanta, GA? Take a friend for 50% off with this link: See Tony Robbins LIVE In Atlanta!
Visit, sign up, read reviews, travel, post reviews.

It's that simple.

As many of you know, I get “Wander Lust” or “The Travel Bug” as some call it. I’m not alone in this.

My friend is getting her passport, this year, with nowhere specific to go. She just wants to have it for when she randomly decides to fly to London or Italy on a whim.

Today’s sponsored post is from Trusted Places – a website where you sign up, post reviews & get reviews to awesome hot spots. You and Amanda should totally check this out when the urge to travel compels you to find a cool place to go.

Want to check out London restaurants? They have what you’re looking for, posted by other real people, not an automated robot.

Visit, sign up, read reviews, travel, post reviews.

It’s that simple.
