8:11 PM, I’m listening to RadioParadise & chillin’ in my jammies. I just had some geekworthy junkfood to make my mouth happy. I log on to Pay Per Post, to see what’s available to me. Ultimately, I’ll also be telling them how my Alexa rankings, that I, personally don’t care about, have gone down by half since I registered this blog with them. I wonder how that will open up new opportunities to me…

Back to now. It’s 8:13, and I’ve selected to take this opportunity to tell you why I love being a part of the blog network. Oh yeah, and they’re paying me to do it!

I would write about this, gladly, anyway. And I have, in the past, written and spoke plainly about how I like choosing what to write about, and being able to write about a variety of subjects. I tend to intersperse my other writing with sponsored posts that I find interesting from sponsors. I get a bit of money for keeping my sites online & get paid to post my opinion on things I choose.

Other writers may say, “But what about your credibility?” Well, my friends, those of you looking to be published writers are looking to get paid for what you write, yes? Same here. But instead of fiction being my focus, I prefer writing short non-fiction or opinion – editorial pieces (all sponsored posts on this site were chosen by me). And yes, I LOVE it when I get paid to write about what I think.

It’s 8:17. And I’m already past the 200 word mark for writing this piece. I’ll get paid $20 for telling you why I love sponsors.

$20 for 5 minutes of “work” = $240 per hour. What’s not to love?
