My Lens about me has been doing fairly well on Squidoo.

With my disdain for Alexa Rankings, and not enough traffic for many sites to sneeze at, I find it interesting to watch my rank on Squidoo rise, and occasionally fall.

While they don’t publish their algorithms, it’s interesting to see how changes I make effect my lensrank.

I have a bunch of random information running around in my head, that doesn’t really pertain to business, writing, or whatever my main blogs focus on. Because of this, I enjoy making lenses.

My lenses are a brief glimpse into the trivial bits of information that I know on other things. Like dancing, traveling, or other pursuits.

One problem, though… it’s addictive. Once you let yourself start, it’s easy to get ideas for the next lens, and the next…

Kind of like blog entries.
