One Habit You HAVE to Break

Hey, welcome back! Did you remember to join our newsletter? Did you know that paid members receive tons of cool freebies and discounts?

I was talking to a 17 year old girl, today. (Whose name will remain anon. to keep her from burying her head like an ostrich!)

She wants a job.

But she talks herself out of it, with reasons why they wont hire her, or why she can’t work there, or what the problem would be, before she even tries to apply.

She’s focusing on the problem.

When she, or YOU, focus on the problem, the problem multiplies.

Coach’s Suggestion:

Turn your attention to solutions. Let the solutions multiply.

Don’t talk yourself out of trying something that could turn out good & is ultimately what you want. You really never know what good will come of something, unless you try.

I think you can help your friend by taking it one step further. Has she ever babysat? She had great responsibility and had to think on her feet. She needed to get to work on time and adapt to her clients needs. Was she on a sports team or school club? She was able to work with various individuals to achieve an agreed upon goal. She worked hard to improve her skills for the benefit of the organization and responded well to directions from her supervisor. Dress it up. You get the idea. Put this on her resume. She has more to offer than she thinks.
